ITMA 2019 was accompanied by a strong line-up of events that helped participants to increase knowledge, foster exchange of ideas and enhance networking opportunities.
Both the ITMA-EDANA Nonwovens Forum and Textile Colourant & Chemical Leaders Forum, which were ticketed events, received overwhelming response and more seats had to be added.
ITMA-EDANA Nonwovens Forum
Nonwovens Manufacturing Processes for the 21st Century: More Flexible, More Efficient, More Sustainable
This is the 2nd collaboration between ITMA and EDANA, the international association for the nonwovens and related industries. The 3 key topics for this edition were: nonwovens trends and figures, sustainable nonwovens and innovation.
Textile Colourant & Chemical Leaders Forum
Meeting Resource Challenges in the Circular Economy
A committee comprising leading industry association members curated the forum programme. The participant number for this 3rd edition increased by 48% since its inception in 2011, attesting to the growing importance of the forum.
The Sustainable Apparel Coalition hosted one of its manufacturer forums at ITMA this year and planned its annual global member meeting around ITMA. It was a pleasure to work with the wonderful ITMA team, who ensured the SAC-ZDHC Manufacturer Forum was a great success. Offering the SAC events in conjunction with this international industry showcase gave our audiences an opportunity to connect with value chain partners, meet other industry leaders, and explore the latest machinery and technologies that support sustainable practices."
